When talking about fast-track rises in Australia’s club landscape, STÜM (Jack Stummer) has got to be in the conversation. Since bursting onto the scene last year, the 22-year-old producer and Happy Wax Records head has garnered an almighty following in a very short space of time.

In the last few months alone, STÜM has played to thousands upon thousands of ravers at Pitch Music & Arts and Beyond The Valley. Plus, sold 2,500 tickets in just 24 hours to both his upcoming Eora Metro Theatre and Naarm 170 Russell St shows. Unsurprisingly, big players are paying attention, with props from KETTAMA, XCLUB, AK SPORTS and more flooding in.

This wave of love is warranted with STÜM a maestro at writing energetic dance music. Tracks overflowing with euphoria that call to rampant raves from the 90s.

The Naarm local’s new single “Play My Heart” is just that. A nippy trance jam built around a super infectious vocal sample. Swirling around the lyrics come playful synth strokes, sharp hats and breaky percussion – all making for a record with serious festival feeling.

“Play My Heart” marks the beginning of our relationship with STÜM and we’re delighted to brand his forthcoming EP with the Gallery insignia.
