There’s no denying it, STÜM (Jack Stummer) is in a brilliant pocket right now.

Songwise, the Naarm native’s recent trance offering “Play My Heart” has just pricked the ears of Triple J presenters landing it on spot rotation. Whilst on the live side of things, the blond-haired yahoo has just capped off a whopping 10-date sold-out headline tour, selling well over 7,000 tickets – gripping fans with his signature rampaging energy.

Keeping things rolling, it’s now time for his next club dose, “Dreaming Of You”. A beautifully ruminant breaker that shows off his ability to take a myriad of sonic routes. There’s a touching melancholic feeling on this one, as a mysterious and saintly falsetto dances over shuttering percussion and resonant keystrokes. There’s an attractive flexibility to this record–suitable for headphones, portable speakers and a rocking system at that.

“Dreaming Of You” is STÜM’s second single out via Gallery Recordings in quick succession, and word is there’s stacks more gold in the works from this blossoming partnership.
